Oracle EBS 12.2.8 Step by Step Installation — Part 1

Multinode Installation :

The Multimode Installations the database and application services are different nodes or servers

Before Running Rapidwiiz :

• The should be an X display working to support the GUI installation
• Verify the Sufficient space is available in the /usr/tmp or /tmp directory
• verify the Suficient space is available in the swap space

Installation :

cd /devdb/R12/startCD/Disk1/rapidwiz

[oracle@devebsdb rapidwiz]$ ./rapidwiz

Rapid Install Wizard is validating your file system……..
CMDDIR=/devdb/R12/startCD/Disk1/rapidwiz
Rapid Install Wizard will now launch the Java interface……

1. The first and main Installation screen that will show the list of the tech stack components will be installed in the EBS

Two options available 1. Install Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2.0
2. Upgrade to Oracle E-Business Release 12.2.0

We are performing Fresh installation here, so we need to select Option 1. Install Oracle E-Business…
